Brian Paul

Researcher and Writer for THE DOMINO EFFECT

Brian Paul (Hunter Urban Planning/Urban Studies MA program) is an activist urban planner and policy analyst, and has researched and written numerous papers and articles on sustainability, equity, and civic participation in urban development. After earning a BA in Anthropology and Classics from Vassar College in 2007, Brian moved to New York and became increasingly involved in progressive urban politics. In 2011 Brian received a Masters in Urban Planning degree at Hunter College while working with Professor Tom Angotti at the Hunter College Center for Community Planning and Development. He has researched and written numerous papers and articles on sustainability, equity, and civic participation in urban development and is currently working closely with community groups in Chinatown/Lower East Side to help advocate for a community based rezoning plan.
